Golf Raffle Prizes

In conjunction with the Golf Scramble we are holding a raffle. If you do not play golf but still wish to help raise funds for the school maybe you would consider buying some raffle tickets for family, friends, neighbours etc. If you have any unwanted gifts that you would like to donate to the raffle please drop them into the school before Thursday 26th May. Raffle tickets are €5.00 each or a book of 5 is €20.00

Blood Bikes
[espro-slider id=2651]Robbie Jameson and Shane Walsh present Fergus and Tony of Blood Bikes Leinster with a cheque for €500 which was raised by holding a non uniform day earlier this year.
RSE (Relationships & Sexuality Education)
During the week of 23-27th May, classes from Junior Infants to 4th Class will receive an RSE lesson on new life/birth. All lessons are appropriate to child’s age and understanding. Please see full details by CLICKING HERE and you can access lesson plans by clicking HERE
May / June Events
IRISH AID AWARDS (18th May)
Ms. Prendiville along with Hannah, Bernadette & Mark from her class will attend the Irish Aid Awards on Wednesday next 18th May in Mary Immaculate College Limerick. Thanks to Hugh Harney for providing transport on the day.
6th GREEN FLAG PRESENTATIONS (25th May)
Ms. Shaw along with GreenSchools members Patrick & Lauren will attend the flag presentation on 25th May in the Helix Dublin. Thanks to David Hickey for providing transport on the day.
EUROPE DAY (8th June)
Europe day will take place on Tuesday 8th June in school. More information to follow.
SPORTS DAYS (20th & 22nd June)
Weather permitting sports days for the following classes takes place as follows: on Monday 20th June (Junior Infants to 2nd Class) and on Wednesday 22nd June (3rd to 6th Class).
NO SCHOOL (24th June)
There will be no school on Friday 24th June due to an In Service Day for the New Language Curriculum for staff.
Communion/Confirmation Photographs
On Wednesday 25th May School Photographer Vincent MacNamara will be in school taking Communion and Confirmation Photographs.
The Communion children are to wear in their Communion clothes (children can change into their school tracksuit after photographs are taken if they wish). Confirmation children are to wear in their full school uniform – not tracksuit on the day of the photographs.
