Bhí Seachtain na Gaeilge againn ó 1ú Márta go dh 15ú Márta.  Bhí na páistí agus na múinteoirí an-gnóthach ar fad.

Bhíomar ag imirt BINGO, ag damhsa agus an canadh amhrannaí cosúil le Amhrán na bhFiann, Oró se do bheatha bhaile agus Caisleán ar an Droim.

Rinne na páistí pictiurí don seanfhocail agus “leprechaun” agus fuair a lán páistí, duaiseanna beaga.

Bhí tráth na gCeist ag rang 3-6 agus phioc gach múinteoir “Gaelgeoir na Seachtaine” ón ngach rang.

Ar an gCéadaoin, bhí an ghrian ag spalpadh agus bhí céilí mór againn ar an gclós scoile.

The Rathmore N.S. Green Schools Committee are organising Las Glás 2017.  It will be held on Wednesday 15^th March. The pupils are to wear something GREEN / dress all in GREEN to school on Wednesday.

Cost €2.00 per child or €5.00 per family.

All proceeds going to Irish Autism Action.

Rathmore N.S. took part in the Nore Valley School Incubator Project. The project involves an incubator and 7 eggs being delivered to school for a four to five week process.  We received our incubator on Tuesday 7^th February and turned it on Wednesday 8^th.

The process of the chicks hatching took 21 days.  Five chicks hatched on Wednesday 1^st March. As Nore Valley needed the incubator, they took the remaining two unhatched chicks back to the park on Friday 3^rd to put into a large incubator.

We would like to say a big thank you to Niamh, Kadie, Paul and Martina for looking after the project for the past three weeks. Great excitement all throughout the school and chirping sounds to boot !
