On Wednesday 19^th October we entered the 16th Annual West Wicklow Cumann na mBunscol Cross Country in Valleymount. We had twelve races on the day. We brought 48 children in total from 1^st to 6^th class. Six teams of boys and 6 teams of girls.

All our teams competed extremely well and most won team medals.  The medal presentation ceremony took place in St. Josephs N.S. Valleymount. Many thanks to Ms. Nora Kelly, Principal, Her staff and volunteers who ensured the day ran smoothly. A special mention to Mr. Tommy Brennan, who presented the medals to all the schools.   Thanks to Mr. Collier who collated all the results for our teams on the day.

Thanks to the class teachers who ran the qualifying heats during last week and all the pupils who took part.
