There is great excitemnet around Rathmore N.S. again this week as we get behind the Eadestown Senior Ladies Team, who take on Kilcullen in the Championship Final this Friday evening in St. Conleth’s Park, with throw-in at 7:45pm.

The children have drawn pictures and made banners to celebrate. To further show our support for this fantastic team and to celebrate what has been a hugely successful year for the Eadestown Ladies, we are inviting all pupils and staff to wear blue on Friday. Club gear is welcome, but any blue top will do. Our school tracksuit is a great option too, with plenty of blue on display!

This final is especially exciting for our school  as Ms. Jessica Harney, a member of our staff and one of the team’s players, will be lining out on the night. Jessica generously gives her time coaching our boys’ football team, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to show our appreciation and support.

The achievement of having both Eadestown Ladies teams reach their respective finals this year is a tremendous milestone for the club and the wider community. Many of our pupils have family connections to the teams, and there is great pride throughout the school as we cheer on the Girls in Blue.

We would love to see as many families as possible in St. Conleth’s Park on Friday evening to support Jessica and her teammates as they take to the field for what promises to be a memorable final.

Best of luck to Jessica and all the Girls in Blue! 💙
