There is a real buzz around Rathmore NS as we get behind the Eadestown Ladies ahead of the Senior Ladies Reserve Team Championship Final in Ballykelly on Saturday, 26th September at 3:30pm.

Pupils have been busy making banners, taking out the blue flags and showing their support for the Girls in Blue. We encourage everyone to wear their club colours and, if possible, come along to Ballykelly GFC at 3:30pm, where Eadestown will take on St. Laurence’s in what promises to be a fantastic occasion for the club and community.

This is a particularly exciting time for our school, with the Eadestown panel featuring past pupils, mothers of current pupils and our own Ms. Orlaigh Behan. Staff and pupils alike would like to wish Orlaigh and all the players the very best as they prepare for the big day.

The excitement does not end there. This is the first of two consecutive weekends of finals for the Eadestown Ladies, with the Senior Team, with Ms. Jessica Harney, taking on Kilcullen the following Friday evening.

Both Orlaigh and Jessica generously coach football teams in our school, and it would be wonderful to see as many children and families as possible out supporting them and their teammates over the coming weekends
