“Friends are the family we choose ourselves” and so it is in the third week of September each year, the pupils of Rathmore N.S. become one big family. The emphasis is placed on the promotion of positive relationships and the important role that friendship can play. Friendship Week gives us the opportunity to celebrate this at the very start of the year so that we can begin as we mean to go on. During the week the pupils, staff and parents are encouraged and afforded the opportunity to forge new friendships and renew and strengthen old ones.
