Parents Association – you are invited

Tuesday, September 25th @ 7:30pm

TECHNOLOGY AND FAMILY LIFE
As technology plays more of a role in our lives today it is often difficult to know how our children interact with it. Do we limit its use or do we encourage it? How do we manage social media etc.?
With this in mind we’ve invited Dr Colman Noctor, Assistant Professor at Trinity College and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, who specialises in the area of technology on our mental wellbeing to share some of his learnings.
The talk will explore our relationship with technology and how we can develop healthier ways of engaging with it so as to maximize the potential benefits and minimise adverse effects, particularly when it comes to family life and childhood development.
This talk will take place on Tuesday, September 25th from 7:30pm – 8:30pm in the Green Room beside the polytunnel at Rathmore NS.

PARENTS ASSOCIATION A.G.M.
The Parents Association is a great way to meet other parents, stay close to what is happening at the school and make a contribution to the development, enjoyment and education of our children and as a parent you’re automatically a member.
The AGM will take commence shortly after the Technology Talk concludes. We will share with you what we achieved last year and what is planned for the coming year.

We hope to see you all on Tuesday 25th @ 7:30pm.
For any queries please contact Alan Madden or any member of the Parents Association, contact details on school website; https://rathmorens.ie/about/parents-association/
