Books for 2016/17

Please read carefully

We are asking 3rd, 4th & 5th class pupils to purchase:

  • (1) Collins Pocket English Dictionary
  • (2) Collins Pocket Irish Dictionary
    (Both can be used up to Leaving Cert class)

We are looking for donations of:

  • Sin É 3 & CD
  • Sin É 4 & CD
  • Sin É 5 & CD
  • Sin É 6 & CD

If we get sufficient books we can save roughly €16.00 per student on costs and will include these in the Book Rental Scheme.

 

We are also seeking donations of:

  • Fallons Oxford Children’s Dictionary
  • Foclóir Folens (ISBN: 0-86121-839-6)

to be used as reference materials in the younger classes to teach pupils how to use a dictionary.

Finals – Thu 9th June

We want to wish the BOYS hurling & GIRLS camogie teams good luck in their finals tomorrow (Thursday 9th June).  Both matches take place in Moorefield Newbridge.

Boys hurling match at 2.45pm and Girls camogie match at 3.45pm

Congratulations to the girl’s comogie team and boy’s hurling team who have qualified for the Cumann na mBunscoil finals which take place in Moorfield next week. Dates and times to be confirmed.

Scoil Cheile Chriost Rathmore N.S. Golf Scramble 2016

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people who helped make our golf scramble a success. We were reasonably fortunate with the weather for our 2016 golf fundraiser in Tulfarris, 25 teams took part on the day. A lot of work goes into the organisation of the day and we are grateful to all who contributed in any way. Please take the time to read through our list of tee box and prize sponsors, and support them over the coming year.

We will publish where the monies have been used to help better the school experience for our pupils before next year’s event.
