Child Protection

Updated 2018

The full text of our Child Protection Policy can be found by clicking HERE

We are always looking for parents to help with various in-school and extra-curricular activities, under the supervision of class teachers / principal. This can range from classroom help to swimming supervision, lifts to matches etc. It is a requirement that all parents helping out in-school are Garda-Vetted. The process is confidential and once the initial application is submitted by the school, the process is online.

Once submitted by the school, parents will then receive an email with an online application form to complete. Please note that this ONLINE vetting form is only issued to the applicant – the school does not have access to these forms.

If you are interested in providing help in the school, please download the NEW GARDA VETTING FORM – HERE, complete this form, and return it to the school principal or secretary with the required form(s) of ID. (A minimum of 100 points of ID are required – see Download ID Requirements Here).

If you have any difficulty downloading these forms, they are available from the school.
